Ehime University has received support from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) under the “Project for Strengthening Global Development Capabilities”, Ehime University is currently developing a special program for international students from ASEAN countries!
Practical program to learn through the charms of Ehime
Learn about the sustainable food value chain and SDGs while experiencing the nature and culture of Japan’s rural areas.
You will learn about the food value chain and specific ways to contribute to the SDGs while experiencing the nature and culture of Japan’s regions.
Learning Points
Experience Ehime’s “mountains, villages, and sea”
- Focusing on primary industry and food industry, students will learn through video footage and interviews from the field.
- Explore sustainable food production and distribution using Ehime’s resources.


Learn from the “Straw
Revolution” Natural
Farming Method
- Learn to incorporate Masanobu Fukuoka’s natural farming methods and consider an environmentally friendly future.
- Learn a new perspective of “multi-species” where all life coexists.

Fusion of real and virtual
- Participation of “student influencers” who spread learning in a friendly manner on social network sites.
- Experience the charm of Ehime through online events utilizing Metaverse.
- Study abroad counseling and group work are also available.

Outline
of
the
Project
- Consolidation of educational content into JV-Campus
Each university will create educational content that will lead to the granting of credits, and consolidate and publish it on JV-Campus. The number of selected projects is 9 Type A undergraduate type and 8 Type B master’s course type. - Measures for credit recognition
Credits earned before entering a Japanese university from abroad or coming to Japan as an exchange student will be recognized by Japanese universities. - Credits for package application
A package of at least 4 credits of related courses can be applied for. Undergraduate courses consist of [at least 2 credits of leberal arts courses].
